Abstract
Aim:To determine correlation of different factors, fundus changes and visual loss & role of treatment of associated factors.
Method –A prospective cohort study including 24 patients qualifying the inclusion criteria between age 20-50 yr were studied. After obtaining informed and written consent, data regarding, profile of patients, his/her medical history, symptoms, were recorded in a pre-designed and per-test proforma. The ophthalmological examination was conducted. Data collected were analyzed by appropriate statistical tests
Results- Most common associated factor is unknown but others include stress, gastritis, type a personality, steroid intake
Conclusions- Stressful life was found to be a major risk factor. Majority of cases self-resolve without treatment and treatment of associated factor results in early and better improvement of VA and clinical features in span of 3-6 months
PDT may be required for cases of recalcitrant, chronic CSCR and anti-VEGF may not be beneficial
