Abstract
INTRODUCTION-
Wilson’s disease is an inborn error of copper metabolism.A commonly associated symptom is kayser Fleisher rings in the cornea of affected individuals.
Objective: Diagnosis of wilson’s disease with the help of slit lamp examination in ophthalmology.
Patients and Methods/Material and Methods: A 20-year-old male born out of
non-consanguineous marriage with normal developmental .He had complain of right sided subcostal tenderness and increase fatigue for several months with dark colour urine. The patient was admitted for work up and treatment for his undiagnosed condition.Patient was reffered to ophthalmology clinic for evaluation of kayser-fleisher rings.
Conclusion: Diagnosis of Wilson’s disease with detailed Evaluation in ophthalmology clinic with slit lamp and gonioscopy examination.
