Abstract
Rho Kinase (ROCK) Inhibitors are new normal in advance glaucoma. But due to its side effects(SE) it is challenging to use ROCK Inhibitors routinely. The most frequent SE is conjunctival hyperaemia. With regard to the clinical presentation of SE in patients taking ripasudil 0.4%or netarsudil 0.02% our case series provide an overview in 12 eyes. The average patient age was found to be 68.6 years. The most frequent SE was irritating contact dermatitis(ICD)over the lid. In 50% of cases ICD had previously occurred to other AGM. The majority of eyes required modifications in their glaucoma therapy with SE management. ROCKInhibitors were used for an average of 9 months before a SE was seen and in 9 eyes the use of these drugs was discontinued. Even though in all patients intraocular prssure control was achieved ICD over lid led to the discontinuation of ROCK Inhibitors. The SE that changed how glaucoma is managed may not have been caused by ROCK Inhibitors alone but rather by other AGM as well.
