Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to analyze the ocular manifestation in patients with ROCM, post COVID-19
Method
This is a tertiary hospital based retrospective study of 100 patients admitted with ROCM for a period of 6 months. All patients with a clinical diagnosis of ROCM were included in this study. A detailed history was taken, a complete ocular examination was done. Routine blood examination and radiological examination was done . Diagnosis was based on histopathological examination and KOH mount. They were given treatment as per the severity of the condition.
Results
Out of 100 patients, 71 were male and 29 were female The mean age was 50.7 years . LOV was noted in 54 , proptosis in 52 orbital apex in 51, ptosis in 49, CRAO in 30 , intracranial extension in 30, bilateral in 8 .
Conclusion
ROCM has various presentations and requires multidisciplinary approach. Early diagnosis and treatment are of great importance for eradication of infection and survival of patient.
