Abstract
Idiopathic orbital inflammatory pseudotumor is a chronic neoplasm-like inflammatory reaction, usually affecting the orbital tissues of both eyes and orbit. The most common differential diagnosis is thyroid ophthalmopathy and in recurrent cases lymphoma should be ruled out too. We present case of a female who presented with left eye ptosis , swelling in supero-lateral orbit and painful eye movements. The diagnosis of the disease was made clinical, radiological and FNAC findings. 1 mg/kg/day oral prednisolone was started. Symptoms of the patients regressed with oral corticosteroid therapy.
