Abstract
Purpose- To described the multimodal imaging (multicolour, blue, green, red reflectance and autofluorescence) characteristics of acute macular neuroretinopathy(AMN)
Methods- 67 yr, male patient presented with acute onset paracentral scotoma in RE for two weeks with visual acuity of 0.1. He underwent multimodal imaging at presentation, one month and five months. He was followed up for forty months
Results- At presentation multicolour composite image showed a dark reddish area with loss of perifoveal greenish hue superior to fovea along with a small satellite lesion super temporal to it. Hypoautofluorescence and hyporeflectance was noted. On one month follow up scotoma size and lesions intensity in all imaging modality decreased. On five month follow up there was complete recovery of scotoma and near complete resolution of perifoveal lesion. No recurrence was noted in follow up
Conclusion- Current reports depicts all the phases of AMN lesions using newer multimodal imaging modalities
