Abstract

35 years old male with alleged history of assault came with c/o sudden diminution of vision in right eye. Right eye vision- HMCF,PL+,PL accurate. Oct showed full thickness macular hole. Patient didn’t show spontaneous closure so he underwent pars plana vitrectomy with ILM peeling with fluid air exchange with 12% C3F8 gas ( inverted flap technique was used ). Post op Oct image after 1 month showed closure of macular hole and vision improved form HMCF to 6/36
