Abstract
We present four cases of post- COVID presumed intraocular hemorrhage. Case 1 is of a 47-y-old man, non- hypertensive, non- diabetic – with right eye large subhyaloid hemorrhage, subretinal hemorrhage. The patient had history of fever 3 weeks prior. There was development of altered subretinal hemorrhage subsequently with poor visual recovery. The diagnosis was presumed venous aneurysm. Case 2 was a 50-y-o lady with uncontrolled diabetes with h/o COVID fever 2 months prior, The patient progressed from moderate NPDR to florid PDR in 8 weeks post- COVID- associated retinitis. Case 3- was a 26-y-old woman with no systemic illness with h/o fever 1 month prior. The patient developed spontaneous subhyaloid hemorrhage in inferotemporal quadrant with vasculitis. Case 4 was a 71-y –o lady with no systemic illness who presented with spontaneous subhyaloid and subretinal hemorrhage. All patients tested positive in COVID workup with increased D- dimer and ferritin.
