Abstract
sympathetic ophthalmitis is rare disease with higher visual morbidity. Usually occur after penetrating traumatic injury. The hallmark feature of SO is diffuse choroiditis and exudative retinal detachments with papilitis in sympathizing eye. It is delayed hypersensitivity reaction to tyrosine peptide antigen or melanocytes leads to non-granulomatous inflammation. Case is managed by Intravenous (IV) pulse steroid therapy with steroids and topical steroids and topical anti inflammatory.
