Abstract
surgical intervention is required for mooren’s ulcer when all else has failed and there is risk of corneal perforation . For restoring corneal contour and preservation of vision banana shaped corneal graft can be used. mooran ulcer is rare ophthalmic disease . it can be of autoimmune origin . it can be presented as chronic painful ulcer, photophobia , red eye , watery discharge, progressive loss of vision . if it left untreated progressive corneal degeneration and permanant loss of vision occur.
