Abstract

The current study is a laboratory based,single case pathological study. Inspection and measurements of the eyeball in different dimensions was carried out. The eyeball was sectioned in pupillary optic nerve plane. Photographic documentations were carried out in a full computer system. A digital camera (Zeiss Axio Cam MRc) connected to a microscope (Axioskop 40) was used to capture images from the microscope.The images were then processed.Few gross photos were also taken with an extra camera, connected to a Leica S6 D dissection microscope. Direct examination of IOL surfaces were done under camera (Zeiss Axio Cam MRc) connected to a microscope (Axioskop 40). Histopathological studies were carried out on the specimen.H&E and trichrome stains were done .IOL was cleaned and processed for EM to see the surface changes and correlate different morphologies.
