Abstract
24-year male with decreased vision in both eyes with a visual acuity of 20/40 and 20/125 OD OS respectively. Fundus OD- multiple RPE changes at posterior pole. OS- inferior bullous RD, area of RPE atrophy temporal to fovea with neurosensory detachment (NSD) at fovea.
OCT (OD) – multiple NSD with shallow pigment epithelium detachment (PED) and OS- shallow subretinal fluid at the macula, PED temporal to fovea with RPE rip at the dome of PED and rolled edges of RPE. FFA OS-area of window defect corresponding with area of RPE rip, with a narrow portion of blocked fluorescence on inferior margin, consistent with retracted RPE along with multifocal dye leakage sites in B/L. Diagnosis-B/L CSCR with OS inferior bullous RD and RPE rip. Bullous RD is a rare complication of CSCR and occasionally associated with RPE rip located at the dome of PED with rolled RPE edges .
