Abstract

Abstract: To investigate relation of adulterated alcohol intake and extent of vision loss if intervention is done within 12hrs with methy prednisolone infusion.

Method : The study recruited 28 patients coming to jlnmch, Bhagalpur emergency with history of suspected adulterated alcohol abuse.

Results: visual recovery varies depending upon the time of intervention and amount of substance taken .

Conclusions: If intervention is done within 12 hrs with steroid, there is somechance of vision recovery.
