Abstract

AIM:To assess residual corneal astigmatism in patients undergoing phacoemulsification with steep axis incision decided by android mobile based app.

This was a prospective observational study conducted over a period of one year in patients undergoing phacoemulsification with corneal astigmatism ≤ 1.5D. The study parameters were age,gender,visual acuity,preoperative and post operative corneal astigmatism,axial length and residual corneal astigmatism.

It was found that residual corneal astigmatism had decreased in patients.
